What we offer:
The Autobahn app appeals to users of the German autobahns who, in addition to the possibilities of their navigation app, are looking for further reliable information on the federal autobahns. In particular, frequent users such as commuters or professional drivers receive valuable additional information on the current traffic situation and planned and current construction sites. Diversions and road closures are also integrated in the app. In addition, the app can be linked directly to the personal navigation app.
The Autobahn app is of course free of charge and free of advertising.

Route check:
The most important feature of the Autobahn app is the route check: Simply enter your starting and destination points and, if necessary, select further intermediate destinations. The app shows you the current traffic situation, provides information on the exact route and offers the option of switching directly to your navigation app from there. Your entered route will then be automatically adopted. Do you often drive the same routes? Then you should save as many routes as you want locally in the Autobahn app. So you don't have to keep entering the data and always have an overview of your preferred routes.

Traffic reports / closures / diversions / construction sites:
Broken down according to the individual motorways, you will find detailed information on permanent or day-to-day construction sites in these sections. Not only are current reports stored here, information on planned construction sites, closures or other foreseeable traffic disruptions can also be called up here. So you already know today what to expect where on your route in the future!

Web cams:
In addition, the app offers access to over 1,000 live cams on the motorways, so that you can get a direct picture of the traffic situation at congestion centers, for example.

Parking, refueling, resting:
Are you looking for the next rest area or the next petrol station on your route and want to know what services you can expect on site? You can find all this information under the heading »Parking, refueling, resting«. The exact equipment of the rest area or parking area, the number of truck and car parking spaces and the location are described. But also existing restaurants, kiosks, sanitary facilities, shopping facilities and much more are listed in detail. In this way, you can plan your rest precisely in advance.

E-charging stations:
Are you driving your e-vehicle on the autobahn? Then it is good to know where the e-charging stations are along your route. The exact location can be found here as well as the provider, the coupling type and of course the charging capacity and the number of available charging stations. From the app you can switch directly to your own navigation app and be guided to the selected charging station.
